About Bankhead Resort

A woodland retreat in Double Springs, Alabama

Come for the forest. Stay for the feeling.

A quieter kind of getaway

The Ranch at Bankhead Resort is a growing woodland getaway in Double Springs, Alabama. Our setting in the Bankhead region brings cabin stays together with the forests, waterfalls, waterways, and small-town character of North Alabama.

One cabin is already welcoming guests. Our double cabin now joins the cabin lineup, and another distinctive stay sits in the woods. Each is part of The Ranch and our vision for more ways to enjoy this corner of Alabama.

A stay here can be as active or unhurried as you choose. Plan a day in Bankhead National Forest, explore the Sipsey Wilderness, or discover the history of Double Springs and Haleyville. Natural Bridge and Lewis Smith Lake offer more ways to shape your visit. Return to your cabin with time to rest and decide what tomorrow might hold.

Our local attraction guide helps you choose outings that fit your group. The regional attractions are separate destinations; check their current access and visitor information before heading out.
